wind farm aesthetics

here's an interesting link to a recent designobserver post. all about aesthetics and function and wind farms and environment and nature. the comments below the article are intriguing, too. I didn't come away with any life-shattering conclusions after reading it, but thought I'd share. I wish I had time to sit here and write some long, thoughtful response to the beauty/function debate in the article, on God's creation, how well it all works together, natural contrasts, biological wonders... and think through the contrast between stewardship of what we've been given here and what it may mean to harness that power for electricity... positives, negatives... hmm. thought-provoking for the moment at least. (now: back to my work)
