rustic kitchen

I was just browsing Desire to Inspire and instantly recognized this picture. It's from a fairly-recent issue of Dwell and I remember the article being this rustic middle of nowhere vacation home on a lake up north somewhere. And while I don't recall all the efficiencies the homeowners/builders implemented, I remember it very visually. It was a very outdoor home, very personal. Very simple and spartan, but seemingly accommodating to modern comforts (ie. lighting, a stove, normal furniture, etc).
