Anne Jackson tends to have pretty great things to say, and I absolutely love her honesty. I can't wait for mad church disease!

She was blogging from Uganda recently and I just read her post on rest. Appropriate. I'm taking a down-ish day today and it's so good. reading. listening. you know. A quote from the post:

We cannot be dependent on ourselves and dependent on God at the same time. When we consider the practice of rest unnecessary, we also will inevitably lose sight of the necessity of God.

It's so well-said that I think I'll add it to my pile of favorites.
